Teams and rosters

Your club is the organization; teams live inside it. Once families register and pay, you organize players into team rosters under the season.

The shape of things

Club → Season → Program → Teams. A player belongs to a family, registers into a program, and gets placed on a team's roster. Team labels you imported from a spreadsheet are just labels until you create the team and assign players.

Creating a team

From Teams in the dashboard, create a team under your season, then assign registered players to its roster. Coaches can be attached to teams the same way.

Why bother

Rosters are where the rest of the season hangs: schedules and team-level communication key off the team, not the invitation list. Set them up once registration settles.
