Shared addresses

A shared address like coaches@yourclub.com goes to every coach you map to it. When a coach replies from their own inbox, the parent sees the reply come from the club address, never from a personal email.

Setting up an alias

From Email in the dashboard, add an alias: the address (like coaches on your club domain), an optional display name, and the recipients who should receive it. New aliases work immediately; create as many as you like (registrar@, team-red@, whatever fits your club).

How a conversation flows

1. A parent writes to coaches@yourclub.com.
2. Every mapped coach gets the message in their own inbox, labeled with who sent it.
3. Any coach replies normally, from Gmail or wherever they live.
4. The parent receives the reply from coaches@yourclub.com. The coach's personal address never appears.

Replies thread reliably no matter which mail app a coach uses, even with generic subject lines like "quick question". Each conversation is tracked separately per parent.

Watching conversations

The Email page lists recent conversations: who wrote in, through which alias, the subject, and when the last message moved. It is a record, not an inbox; the actual messages live in your coaches' own email.

What it will not do

• It is not a mailbox you log into. Mail always lands in the recipients' real inboxes.
• Strangers cannot impersonate the club: only mapped recipients can send through an alias's conversations.
