Waivers

The participation waiver is built into the family's join flow. No printing, no PDF attachments, no chasing forms in the parking lot.

How it works for the family

After confirming their player's information, the parent is taken to the signing page: the agreement text, their name, and a signature box they sign with a finger or mouse. It works on a phone, which is where most parents will do it.

What is recorded

• The signer's name and email, and when they signed.
• A fingerprint of the exact document text they signed, so the agreement cannot be quietly altered after the fact.
• The signing device's network address, part of the audit trail.

On the board

The moment a parent signs, the family's row moves to Signed, usually within seconds, no refresh needed on their end. If the signature service is ever briefly unreachable, registration still succeeds and the waiver step recovers on its own.
